Adopt a Dog at Ferndale Project
August 26 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Great brews and new best friends on a patio? What could be better?
Join Friends of Detroit Animal Care and Control on Saturday, August 26 for a special dog adoption event at the Ferndale Project to celebrate National Dog Day. We’ll have adorable, adoptable dogs for you to meet from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. on the brewery’s beautiful patio. This event is free and open to the public.
All you need to do is show up, meet the dogs, and if there is a good fit for you and one of the dogs, apply to take them home that day.
All adoptable dogs have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are fully vaccinated. Adoptees receive flea, tick, and heartworm preventative along with a goodie bag full of toys, treats, food, and more.
Adopters must be 18 years or older, have a valid ID, and answer some key questions about your home and how you plan to care for the dog you’re interested in adopting. There is a $100 suggested adoption donation fee that helps our organization save other homeless pets.
Adopting a dog is a rewarding experience. You can save their life and add a lot of joy and happiness to yours. View all available, adoptable dogs at www.friendsofdacc.org/adoptable
